The national director of Epidemiology at the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), Dr. Francisco Duran, on Monday reported 854 new Covid-19 cases and eight deaths over the last 24 hours.
At his daily press briefing on television, Dr. Duran explained that Cuban hospitals have admitted 4,962 active Covid-19 cases.
He added that the total death toll rose to 467 and the number of contagions increased to 87,385 cases, since March 2020.
