Cuba reported 7,437 Covid-19 cases, 74 deaths

Cuba reported this Wednesday 7,437 new positive cases of SARS-CoV-2, and 74 deaths due to complications with the disease.

With these figures, the country amounts to 768,497 people diagnosed with the coronavirus since March 11, 2020 and 6,523 deaths.

In his usual daily press conference, the head of the National Epidemiology Department, Francisco Duran, detailed that 51,130 samples were studied the day before for the detection of the virus and 8,779,431 tests have been analyzed on the island.

He also pointed out that 96,93,000 people have been admitted to Covid-19, of which 53,967 are suspects, 3,290 are under epidemiological surveillance and 38,836 have the active virus.
