Dr. Francisco Duran, national director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), on Friday reported 1,077 new Covid-19 cases and four deaths over the last 24 hours.
At his daily press briefing on television, Dr. Duran explained that 4,517 active patients are in hospitals nationwide.
With these data, the death toll due to Covid-19 rose to 429, and the number of contagions since March 2020 increased to 77,353.
