India on Wednesday reported as many as 115,736 new Covid-19 cases, a record infection number in one single day, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced.
India´s total cases amounted to 12,801,785 coronavirus-infected inhabitants; meanwhile, the country´s death toll jumped to 166,177, as 630 other people died.
Today´s Covid-19 patients total 843,473, according to official data.
Over 87 million vaccine doses have been administered so far in India to fight Covid-19.
Government warned that next four weeks were going to be too critical.
