Russia reported today 24,072 new Covid-19 cases, for a total of 6,126,541 and an increase of 0.39 percent with respect to the previous day.
Of yesterday positive cases most were detected in this capital (3,406), in the Moscow region (2,191) and in Saint Petersburg (1,934).
At present, 482,033 people are under medical treatment because of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in the country, reported the major operational state for the fight against Covid-19.
During the last 24 hours, 18,678 patients were discharged, which amounts to 5,490,634, for a recovery rate of 89.6 percent.
On Saturday, 779 Russians died as a result of the pandemic, which brings to 153,874 the number of deaths since the beginning of the disease in the Eurasian nation, for a mortality rate of 2.51 percent.
