Cuba reports 6,342 Covid-19 cases and 84 deaths

Cuban health authorities on Tuesday reported 6,342 new cases with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes Covid-19, and 84 deaths in the past few hours due to complications from this disease.

Therefore, Cuba has reported 652,855 (8.2 percent) coronavirus cases since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020 and 5,303 deaths.

Dr. Francisco Duran, national director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health, said that 43,834 samples were studied, so the total number of samples studied so far rose to 7,935,443.
