Cuba reported 6,208 new Covid-19 cases, 87 deaths

Cuban health authorities informed today that out of a total of 57,137 samples analyzed, 6,208 new positive cases of Covid-19 and 87 deaths were reported at the end of Wednesday, which represents 10.9 percent of positivity, informed Dr. Francisco Duran, director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, in a press conference.

Thus, the Caribbean nation accumulates 665,672 patients diagnosed with the virus since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, and 5,464 fatalities.

A total of 96,261 people remain in hospitals, of whom 59,175 are suspected, 4,177 are under surveillance and 32,909 are positive.
