The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory identified 369 new cases – 159 males and 210 females – of coronavirus (COVID-19) on Thursday, October 28.
There were 2 313 tests conducted.
Of the positive cases, 90 people were under the age of 18, and the other 279 were 18 years and older.
There were 784 people in isolation facilities, and 5 382 in home isolation.
As at October 28, there were 151 deaths attributed to the viral illness.
The number of people who have received at least one dose of the vaccine under the National COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign stands at 148 227 (64.9 per cent of the eligible population).
A total of 124 798 people (46 per cent of the total population or 54.6 per cent of the eligible population) have received their second doses and are fully vaccinated. The eligible population represents people who are 12 years and older.
Since the start of the pandemic, the public health laboratory has conducted 385 001 tests and recorded a total of 17 151 confirmed cases (8 304 males and 8 847 females) of COVID-19. (MHW/BGIS)
