The Ministry of Health yesterday said that another person who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 250.
The latest fatality is a 57-year-old female from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) who died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical facility.
Meanwhile, the Ministry said that 81 new cases of COVID were recorded. Nine persons are in the ICU.
