Cuba reports 1,436 Covid-19 cases and 11 deaths

Cuban health authorities on Sunday reported 1,436 new contagions with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes Covid-19, and 11 deaths due to complications from the disease over the last 24 hours.

According to Dr. Francisco Duran, national director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), Cuba has reported 167,804 patients and 1,159 deaths since March 2020, when the first Covid-19 case was detected in the country.
