Six more die in Trinidad from COVID-19

Six more people have died from COVID-19, the Ministry of Health said in its daily update yesterday. A further 181 people have also contracted the virus.

The deaths included three elderly males and two elderly females with comorbidities, as well as one adult male without comorbidities.

Total deaths now stand at 998 and active COVID cases amount to 5,742, of which 5,168 are in self-isolation at home.

The number of people who received first-dose vaccinations stands at 252,521 as of yesterday and 173,642 have received two vaccination doses.
