Brazil´s death toll rose to 354,617, after new 1,480 deaths were reported in last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said.
The South American nation thus once again registered an unprecedented Covid-19 death toll in just seven days.
Averagely over 3,100 people died of coronavirus in the last week alone.
On April 8, Brazil reported as many as 4,249 Covid-19 deaths a new daily record in the country.
Health Ministry´s report also showed that 35,785 infections were registered in the same period, reaching up to 13,517,808 since first report in February 2020.
