Cuba reports 8,034 Covid-19 cases and 80 deaths

Cuba reported 8,034 new contagions with the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus that causes Covid-19 and 80 deaths in the last 24 hours, due to complications from that disease.

In this way, Cuba has accumulated 745,202 patients with Covid-19 and 6,299 fatalities since March 2020.

The national director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), Dr. Francisco Duran, explained in his daily press briefing on television that in order to identify the presence of SARS-Cov-2, 56,514 samples were tested, for a total of 8,624,937 since the outbreak of the disease in the country.
